The mixed media works of the Truncated and the accompanying For Keep's Sake series combine drawing, sculpture, and found objects to question social and cultural values, coding, and expectations. Denoting the damaged body as metaphor and testimonial, the shell-like “tattooed” torsos explore self-perception, transformation, transcendence and rebirth.

In merging two-and three dimensional practice the artist undermines the integrity of form and image to challenge assumptions about appearance and reality.
